What's New

GREETINGS TO ALL. Thank you for taking a moment to check in on me.

Linda Carol Arts has moved to a commercial building smack in the middle of the crossroads of historic Mechanicsville, PA. You can find me in the
Stone House Antiques and Art Center. My “shingle” is out front.  This is a very exciting opportunity for me to continue to serve you and meet lots of new people.

Clients visit the studio regularly coming from a 50 mile radius that includes all of Bucks County, Lehigh County, Hunterdon and Mercer Counties, Montgomery County, Chester and Delaware Counties, Philadelphia, northern New Jersey, and always New York City families who plan their events here in beautiful Bucks County. Visitors are always welcome to visit the studio and meet with me by appointment. As always, I work nationwide too.

WEDDINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS: I continue to work with bridal clients. I enjoy seeing people and serving families. I enjoy creating theme designs that are one-of-a-kind, unique to your venue and style. You’ll never find these ideas anywhere else! The invitation sets the style for what’s to come. Hand lettered addressing makes you guests feel special. I very much enjoy creating the save-the-date, the invitation, seating charts/seating cards, table cards, menus, wedding programs, and everything and anything.

CALLIGRAPHY CLASSES: This new location allows me to offer my workshops.
I am taking registrations for each month. Please email me if you are interested. These are full-day workshops for $70 (includes a packet and exemplars). I offer:

Beginners – an introduction to the lettering arts and the Classic Italic Alphabet
Intermediate – Italic Variations
Advanced - Uncial
Pointed Pen - am developing a pointed pen workshop and a review of English Roundhand (Copperplate)

LECTURES AND PRESENTATIONS: I have had the pleasure of giving lectures/presentations to historical societies, garden clubs, and art leagues. My topic is “The history of American Penmanship”….based on what I’ve learned over the years from Michael Sull, Bob Hurford, and other friends from IAMPETH. Another favorite is Wedding Etiquette. This is a fun talk. The classic and elegant weddings that developed from our Victorian ancestors are so lovely. I enjoy sharing the things I've learned from working with so many families and event planners.

In addition to special orders and commissions, the studio is full of my favorite items for sale. I’m looking forward to seeing you! BE WELL.
